I love waffles! Who doesn’t? It’s the ultimate in comfort, breakfast food. But we all know that you’re eating nothing but sugar and starchy flour. I’ve created a new waffle recipe full of healthy, goodness. And most importantly, it’s fast and easy to cook these delicious Protein Powder Waffles!
These waffles are:
*Almost sugar free
Ingredients:(1 serving/3 waffles)
– 1 scoop whey protein powder (30g), any flavor
– 1 egg
– 1 tsp vanilla
– 1 tsp Truvia
– 1/4 cups liquid (Almond or flax milk, or water)
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix with a fork.
Spray waffle maker w non stick spray (these can also be pancakes if no waffle maker)
Add 2tbl batter to each section of waffle maker, close and cook about 5 minutes
I ate these with sugar free syrup and real yogurt vegetable spread. You can top with whatever you like because besides the 1 egg, there is no other fat and only a few carbs.
